The FAQ

Do you Travel?

Here’s a friendly and on-brand response for your FAQ:

---

**Do you travel?**
Absolutely! I love photographing in new places and am always up for an adventure. Whether your wedding is a few towns over or across the country, I’m happy to travel to wherever your story is unfolding. Travel fees vary depending on location, and I’ll always be upfront about any costs involved — no surprises.

How many photos do we get?

I don’t put a hard cap on the number of photos I deliver; I include everything that tells the full story of your day. On average, you can expect around 75 to 100 edited images per hour of coverage. Every gallery is carefully curated and edited to reflect all the meaningful, beautiful, and in-between moments.

Do you retouch photos?

Yes — all of your final images are carefully edited for color, lighting, and overall style to match the Lumen Awakening look. I also do light retouching, like removing blemishes or distractions, while keeping everything looking natural and true to you. If you have specific requests, just let me know and we can talk through them.

How do we book you?

First, we’ll set up a meeting to get to know each other and chat about your vision for the day. If it feels like a good fit, I’ll send over a contract and invoice for the retainer. Once those are taken care of, your date is officially booked!

How far out do you book?

Most couples book me 9 to 18 months in advance, especially for peak wedding seasons. That said, I’m always happy to check availability no matter how early or last-minute it might be. If you’re thinking about reaching out, don’t wait; I’d love to hear from you!

What should we wear?

Wear something that feels like you and makes you feel confident and comfortable. Neutral tones, soft textures, and earthy colors tend to photograph beautifully, but the most important thing is that you feel good in what you’re wearing. Avoid loud patterns or logos, and try to coordinate without being too matchy. I’m happy to help you choose outfits or give feedback if you’re unsure; just send me some options!

How long have you been doing this?

I’ve been photographing professionally for several years, and every shoot still feels like something special. Over time, I’ve had the honor of capturing everything from wild dance floors to quiet, emotional moments — and I’ve learned how to adapt, connect, and create in all kinds of settings. This isn’t just a job to me; it’s something I truly love doing.

How do we get our photos?

Your final gallery will be delivered through a private, online link where you can view, download, and share all your high-resolution images. The gallery is easy to use, works on both phones and computers, and includes a built-in store if you’d like to order prints. Everything is yours to download and keep forever.

Whats your turn around time?

Wedding galleries are delivered within 6 to 8 weeks, with a sneak peek sent in the first week so you have something to enjoy and share right away. For portrait and engagement sessions, you can expect your gallery in about 2 to 3 weeks. I take my time to make sure each photo is edited with care, so you get a collection that truly reflects your day.

Can you help us with planning?

Absolutely. I’m happy to help with timeline tips, lighting suggestions, and anything else that helps your day flow smoothly. I’ve been to a lot of weddings, so I’m always here to share what I’ve seen work well; whether it’s figuring out the best time for golden hour photos or making space for quiet moments in your schedule. I'm part of your team, and I want the day to feel as stress-free and fun as possible.

What should we do for an engagement session?

The best engagement sessions feel like you. Think of it as a relaxed date with a camera tagging along — whether that’s wandering around your favorite neighborhood, watching the sunset in a field, grabbing coffee, or hanging out at home. We’ll chat ahead of time to pick a location and vibe that feels right, and I’ll guide you through the whole thing so it feels fun, easy, and true to your story.
